Yes, it’s true! We’ve been selected to run the campfire at this years Gilwell Reunion, on Saturday 4th September.

So, first of all, who is going to be there?  ACFL members are asked to let Rex know as soon as poss if you intend to be there – we’d love to include you, so that we can put on a great show of the talent that we have in Avon.

This will be a highly emotional event, as our co-founder, Jimmer Bruce, was a keen Gilwell Reunion attender, and indeed, some of his ashes are scattered there.

To be selected to run this years GR Campfire is a great honour and really puts us on the map, so let’s put on an excellent and fun show and justify the faith that has been put in us.
