Project Eggs Factor
16 March 2011
Project Eggs Factor is a very successful free engineering activity devised and managed by Young Engineers and sponsored by Airbus in the UK. The challenge calls for 7-19 year old students in full time education to use engineering techniques from nature (biomimicry) to design and build a mode of air transport that will safely fly a raw quail egg the farthest distance. There is no limit as to how many students or teams a group may enter.
There may also be an opportunity for local groups to request one of our graduate engineers to assist in the first stages of the project. However, places are strictly limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
